70013 Oliver Cromwell June 9th 1968 Midland Line Centenary Special Railtour Seen at Derby, Ambergate and Great Longstone station.
1T57 (15 Guinea Special)from 1968 showing the original IT57 train with 70013 at Shotlock Hill and Ais Gill viaduct, and the returning train, double headed by 44871 & 44781, at Kirkby Stephen.
Plus several other specials that ran on August 4th 1968 and these include:
45156 seen at Bromley Cross and Carnforth shed
70013 & 44781 seen at Entwistle
44871 & 44894 seen at Entwistle
73069 & 44781 seen at Entwistle
44874 & 45017 seen at Entwistle
Plus shed scenes at Rosegrove on August 4th where we see the Severn Valley 8F 48773 being disposed alongside numerous locos ready for scrapping.
45407 & 73069 are also seen passing Rose Grove on August 4th.
We finish with a visit to Carnforth shed on August 4th where again we see a larger number of locomotives, some of which were destined to survive the cutter's torch.

76079 Standard Class 4 August 15th Machynlleth-Portmadoc This is an on-train journey on the only day in the whole programme of Cambrian trains that the sun shone (2 camera positions - one behind the tender, the other halfway down the train). October 11th/12th (running as 76001) Seen on Rannoch Moor (2 locations), Beasdale bank, Glenfinnan summit.
