45231 Sherwood Forester & 45699 Galatea With two trains running in opposite directions on the line through Skipton, we capture the action at Coniston Cold and Gargrave. 45231 is later seen at Helwith Bridge and Selside Shaw on the S&C before we return to Gargrave Station to see the Black Five storming through on its return run.

9600 Pannier Tank On 4th October, 9600 hauled a private charter over the North Warwicks line in memory of Derek Mayman BEM, a gentleman who helped save the line after it was threatened with closure during the Beeching cuts. We see the train departing Henley in Arden and stopping near the Mayman's family home at Blunts Green where, fulfilling his wish, his ashes were blown onto the line from the engine's chimney.

60009 Union of South Africa 15th October (Borders Railway 15 mins) Edinburgh-Tweedbank A footplate and lineside journey over the Waverley route, now reinstated as far as Tweedbank. The sequence includes dramatic footage of the 1 in 70 climb to Falahill where we see the fireman hard at work.
