Carlisle-Glasgow-Carlisle: first southbound run over Beattock plus the GSW route (4 locations). Crewe-Carlisle-Crewe: stunning action on Shap seen at three lineside locations and from the train plus dramatic night shots roaring through Warrington (9 locations). Both runs on the Welsh Marches are covered at seven locations plus some footplate footage. Guildford-Exeter: locations include Guildford (3 locations), Crofton (2 locations), the powerful run up Whiteball (3 locations). The final run Glasgow-York: 46229 is seen leaving Glasgow Central (3 locations), at East Linton and along the coast near Dunbar.

All the runs of the King are featured. Hereford-Birmingham (5 locations). Stourbridge-Didcot (4 locations). Paddington-Plymouth (7 locations) including moody twilight images in the rain on Dainton double heading with 7325. Plymouth-Worcester double heading with 7325 (5 locations) including dramatic footplate footage enhancing the lineside coverage on the arduous climbs of both Hemerdon and Dainton banks. Worcester-Paddington: five locations including three on the dramatic climb to Sapperton. Paddington-Bristol (6 locations).
