Included are:

The Shropshire & Montgomery Railway
Featuring The Stephenson Locomotive Society 'last train tour' and a visit to the Snailbeach District Railway together with some other small lines in the area and the Minsterley Branch.

Wellington to Much Wenlock and Bishops Castle Railway
We journey from Wellington via Buildwas Jnc to Much Wenlock on two occasions: one on a DMU, the second on the final day of operation when steam ruled supreme. The second part of the line from Much Wenlock to Craven Arms is included, after closure, and we also look at the long gone Bishops Castle Railway. Finally we see what remains today of the line between Buildwas and Marsh Farm Jnc.

The Tenbury Wells Branch and The Ditton Priors Light Railway
We travel on a GW Diesel Railcar from Bewdley to Tenbury Wells, then take a ride up the line to Ditton Priors on a freight working just before closure. Returning from Wofferton behind steam, we see the line in the final months before closure. In the second part we see the demolition of the Cleobury Mortimer & Ditton Priors Light Railway and Tenbury Wells after closure. This is followed by views of what remains today of the railways.

Worcester to Bromyard
At Shrub Hill station we board a train for a return journey to Bromyard hauled by Pannier 8793. Later we see the line when worked by DMUs, and feature still photographs of the last train from Bromyard to Leominster. Finally we see the line under demolition and some of the restored stations which are a feature today. There is also a brief look at the Bromyard and Linton Lt Rly.

Leominster to Kington and Presteigne
Boarding a freight train at Leominster we venture up the line to Kington. We then see still photographs of a special train which ran to Dolhir and take a look at what remains of the line to New Radnor. On a second occasion we travel, again on a freight working, to Presteigne. The Clee Hill Railways Using still photographs we see the lines before and after closure, bringing the story up to date with more recent video footage.
